I'm a coast person really, I like curly green waves, sand between my toes, (yes even in winter) dunes and west Wales sunsets. Springtime delights me ...(all that sunlight through leaves! ) as do dusty museums, conkers in autumn & strong black coffee with cake! People in all situations I find intriguing, what makes them tick ?...
I am far easier a giver than a taker, independent , reasonably self sufficient-(should you wish to know such stuff) I can cook, can mend, can fix things, don't always get around to it ! Dawdling over dinner out has never been a strong point, but I expect I could learn, as I do like food... I even own (and wear, on the right occasion) frocks and stockings, tho I prefer black jeans and black silk.
You would find me tolerant, compassionate, endlessly curious and green minded. I create art in the environment, commonly called 'land art' (if you're a 'favourite' you can see some photos here) I work in renewable energy, zero carbon is a good goal. ( I am also studying an MSc in renewable energy) but green or not, I do enjoy driving and I'm old enough to please myself without a lot of angst.
I enjoy conversation, waters edges, companionship, ancient history, silver collections, my grown up family and a stack of other small things....... I have a bike licence (sadly no bike) WLT learn to drive a fork lift. Having lived all over the world there seems no urgent need for me to holiday abroad. I'm often found in London as the family all live south, one day I will move, but torn between them and the coast of West Wales, I remain here for now.
Other than that... there's music, usually loud when I'm alone- Nightwish,Dire Straits, Van Canto, Mozart, books-science fantasy, David Gemmell, occasional TV- CSI, computers-Macs or PCs, driftwood-off Tywyn beach, bits of wire & metal, (it's sculpture and I've been a metalsmith), my 3 kites, black lace for sensuality, the odd movie and pen and papers,.
OK, so drop me a line as a beginning, who knows where it might lead..... |
